Amazing!
Within SVG is textual information which can be interpreted and expressed by a computer or a cell phone as visuals. And because SVG is
in XML (eXtensible Markup Language), computer programs can be created to translate the visuals to sound.
Right now—even without creating additional programs— there are ways to 'extend' SVG to have animation and audio!
You just have fun, and enjoy new experiences... and... communicate experiences to others.
SVG is an Open Standard Format by the World Wide Web Consortium
SVG is 'open' which means that you can 'learn' all about the format. Not into geeky formats? No worries;
tools are evolving within the market place that allow you to create and express ideas through SVG; much as you
do with word processors or presentation software. In fact, our LaPlaya 'game' is a tool of sorts.
And of course...It's Free!
We recommend Opera, Firefox or Chrome. All these browsers automatically display
SVG, and Opera even supports Synchronous Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL) for additional
animation capabilities.
If you can view SVG— see instructions in left bar— then check out our game.
